This is the design response to a brief centred on creating an unexpected interaction between a lamp and its user. The concept for this project focuses on a lamp that is turned on by the turning of a key. Interacting with this lamp as part of a routine would eliminate the daily ‘where are my keys?' and ‘did I turn the lights off?’ moments when leaving your home.
